We were looking to spend less on realtor fees, etc, but we were a bit skeptical, the thought being "less fee, less service". That is until we met Erick Dillmann and the team at 2% Realty Calgary. As it turned out, we sold our home and had a great experience. Erick was very attentive throughout the process - clearly giving us advice and options, so we could make the right decisions for us. Not only did we have good guidance, but a professional photography services, advertising, etc. Basically 2% Realty is a full service realtor for a reasonable price. We'd definitely hire Erick Dillmann as a real estate agent again.

We were in the process of renovating our house so we could put it up for sale, Erick took time to review our house and let us know what the market focus was. We found Erick very knowledgeable of the market and timing, a good and constant communicator - we never felt in the dark or that it was a bother to him when we had "silly" questions. We felt confident our house was being shown in its best light to a multiple of buyers - we got an offer the first day! Erick guided us through the decisions and we feel the house was sold for the best price. We'd use Erick and his real estate agent team again, absolutely!

Erick Dillmann was the best realtor I could have asked for. I was looking for a realtor before Covid and interviewed three realtors and liked Erick’s calm, friendly and patient mannerism and I planned to use hire him, but I needed to put my plans on hold and Erick was courteous and understanding. When I contacted Erick 20 months later he was quick to respond, showed me homes and was honest with his feelings about the homes. I never felt pushed or that Erick just wanted to make a sale. Erick was patient which I appreciated as this was my first time selling and purchasing a home on my own. Erick patiently answered all my questions and never made me feel less than for asking them. When listing my home Erick gave great suggestions regarding price points, toured my home giving great suggestions on what things I could do to make my home more marketable and provided comparisons to homes in my area. When the house didn’t sell the first week after lots of showings, we discussed lowering the price. Erick was reasonable and again provided proof that the market had declined and most other homes in the neighbourhood had lowered their prices. I listened to Erick and had my duplex sold in two weeks without feeling I had undersold for the market. I was able to finalize my purchase which was conditional on my home selling. Erick was with me every step of the way which I was worried wouldn’t be the case as 2% Realty was an alternative to the realtors of yesteryear. I feel the time and effort that Erick put into the purchase and sale of my housing deals exceeded service I received in the past. Erick is knowledgeable, current, on top of things and an absolute pleasure to deal with! I highly recommend Erick to anyone looking for a real estate agent to purchase or sell their home. My wife and I met Erick when he was acting as the selling agent for the first home we had ever visited. We were prospective buyers and did not have a realtor at the time. Although we did not buy that home, we liked his character and sales approach and asked if he would be our purchase agent. My wife and I work as an Engineer/Nurse combo with fairly demanding/odd schedules, and we were buying a home during a competitive spring 2023 market in the ~550 -750 k range. The scarcity of houses in our range required Erick to be quickly available during odd hours. Erick was easy to get a hold of, and made time to tour Houses all over Calgary in the price range we were looking for. Erick knew we really only had a single neighbourhood in mind… so he treated the viewing opportunities to teach us about good vs bad house flips, and played a huge role in shaping what we considered the “perfect house”. During this time, he never used any sales techniques to push any homes on us that were outside of our criteria. Erick dealt with a rather difficult “for sale by owner” on our behalf and was even able to assist in negotiating a lower price on the home. Erick became a shepherd through the whole process. He recommended a phenomenal mortgage broker who aside from being a wealth of knowledge, went up against the large banks and negotiated a rate below the average rate at the time. Erick then put us in touch with lawyers who completed the land acquisition process. Erick was a wealth of knowledge to two people who were very inexperienced when it came to the home buying process. He put in a great effort for the commission, and I appreciate everything he did for us.
